2027 SAL’S NBL SEASON

The Property Brokers Manawatu Jets are seeking Expressions of Interest for the position of Head Coach for the 2027 Sal’s NBL season.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated coach to lead the Jets programme, establish a strong team culture and develop a clear playing philosophy that delivers competitive success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the Jets basketball programme.

• Establish team standards, values and accountability.

• Develop and implement the team’s style of play and programme.

• Recruit and develop New Zealand and overseas players.

• Work closely with the General Manager on recruitment and programme management.

• Operate within the approved team budget.

• Develop players and create a positive, professional high-performance environment.

• Represent the Property Brokers Manawatu Jets professionally on and off the court.

We are looking for:

An experienced coach with strong leadership, communication, player development and recruitment skills, along with a proven ability to build a positive and accountable team culture.

Experience in the Sal’s NBL, Australian NBL1, international professional basketball or comparable high-level environments will be noted.
